Mission
As a congregation founded in 1890, we have participated in meeting the needs of our surrounding communities, especially as teachers and nurses. Now, as times and needs have changed, our ministries reflect the evolving call to serve the “dear neighbour” in various other ways: pastoral ministry in parishes, religious and justice education, spirituality centres, distance education, counseling and group facilitation, care of AIDS patients, affordable housing issues, refugees, and the list goes on. We work in Alberta, Toronto, Ottawa, Mozambique and the Peterborough area. We are a community of women striving to live active, inclusive, reconciling love.
Vision Statement
We are women faithful to prayer,
living lives based on scripture and gospel values,
rooted in our CSJ spirituality.
Our ministries respond to the poor and most needy,
particularly where the need is not already met.
